My husband and I moved to the Olympic Peninsula with our five children and a dream to market garden. We are on a 4.5 acre farm off the Old Olympic Hwy. There is an orchard of pears and cherries, and plots of organically grown vegetables and flowers. Unheated high tunnels give us the extra heat needed for heirloom tomatoes, and other heat loving vegetables such as peppers and cucumbers.

We farm by hand, with respect to the soil and the life that's in it. This makes a difference you can taste and feel. It's a lot of hard work, but happy children and amazing food, meeting people who appreciate the difference and value it, make this dream of ours worthwhile.
